One of the spells found in the Lands Between is the Elden Ring Swarm of Flies invocation. It not only does damage but also induces blood loss, which may be very destructive to adversaries that are prone to bleeding. It also has minimal stat requirements to use it, favoring arcane over faith, which is a stat you’d want to boost anyway for a bleed build.
If you want to get your hands on this incantation, you’ll need to do some investigating, as you will with many Elden Ring weapons. Where Can I Get a Swarm of Flies?
In the Moghwyn Palace location, the Swarm of Flies blood incantation may be discovered within a cave. It’s a difficult place, but finishing Varré’s quest and obtaining the Pureblood Knight’s Medal, which teleports you to the area when used, will bring you there quite quickly.
If you can’t get this item for any reason, wait until you reach the Mountaintops of the Giants and use the portal stone there to get to the Moghwyn Palace area.
Once you’ve arrived in the region, you’ll need to locate a cave on the northeast side of the blood swamp, which I’ve marked on the map above. Once you’ve arrived, look for the body inside to get the Swarm of Flies incantation.
If you’re working on a bleed build, you may also want to invest in the White Mask. When blood loss is incurred, this helm enhances attack power by 10%.
Build The Best Seal For a Swarm of Flies
A Swarm of Flies is a Blood Incantation, and there are currently no seals in Elden Ring that increase the damage of this school of magic. As a result, getting the Dragon Communion Seal, which you may obtain by passing through the Fringefolk Hero’s Grave at the Stranded Graveyard site of grace at the start of the game, is your best chance. You’ll need to use two Stonesword keys to get to the grace, then navigate the bladed chariots. When you reach the top of the region, you’ll encounter an adversary that you must defeat in order to get this seal.
The Best Weapons to Use in a Fly Swarm
Because a swarm of flies is so powerful at increasing blood loss, you’ll want weapons that can do the same. A Swarm of Flies scales best with Arcane or faith, so you’ll want a weapon that scales well with those stats. But, since bleed weapons are often arcane-based, we’ll concentrate on that.
The greatest companion weapon is the Rivers of Blood Katana, but you’ll have to venture very deep inside Elden Ring to earn it. Rivers of Blood may be obtained by fighting Bloody Finger Okina at the Church of Repose in the Giants’ Mountaintops. Another option is Mohgwyn’s Sacred Spear, which you can receive by giving the Remembrance of the Blood Lord to Enia at the Roundtable Hold. However, you’ll have to slay Mohg, Lord of Blood, to get it, so it’s also late in the game.
Building the Best Talismans For a Flock of Flies
Lord of Blood’s Exultation is the only talisman that is directly tied to this build since it enhances your attack power when blood loss happens nearby. This talisman is earned by killing Esgar, Priest of Blood.

Building Stats For a Swarm of Flies
This build focuses on Arcane, but it also requires a number of other attributes to function well. For one thing, depending on the weapon you’re using, you’ll need more Strength or Dexterity, but you’ll also need the attributes to be able to handle the weapons in the first place. After you’ve completed those qualifications, you should concentrate on Arcane, at least in terms of damage.
