When leveling up your character in Elden Ring, you should be aware of the Soft Caps for each stat. A “soft cap” is the point at which you don’t gain many benefits from leveling up a stat. This information is useful because, after you achieve that state level, you can concentrate on improving your character’s other stats. So, let’s take a look at the Soft Caps in Elden Ring for each metric.

As previously stated, a “soft cap” occurs when your character traits no longer benefit you as much as they did when you first started leveling up in Elden Ring. Mind

  • First Soft Cap: Level 20 (FP gained per level up is 6)
  • Second Soft Cap: Level 50 (FP gained is 8 or 9 per level up)
  • Third Soft Cap: Level 55 (FP gain decreases from 7 to 4 per level up)
  • Fourth Cap: Level 60 (FP gained is 2 or 3 per level up)
  • Hard Cap: Level 99

Endurance

  • First Soft Cap: Level 12 (Each level up, gain 1 and 2 stamina alternately).
  • Second Soft Cap: Level 18 (Each level up, gain 2 and 1 stamina alternately).
  • Third Soft Cap: Level 32 (Get 1 and 2 Stamina alternatively each level up)
  • Fourth Cap: Level 50 (Gain one stamina point for every three levels gained).
  • Hard Cap: Level 99
    • Stamina: Level 50
    • First Equip load Cap: Level 25
    • Second Equip Load Cap: Level 60

Vigor

  • First Soft Cap: Level 40-HP gain per level is reduced from 26 to 13.
  • The second soft cap is at level 60, where the HP gain per level drops from 13 to 5/6.
  • 3rd Soft Cap: Level 90 – HP gain drops from 5 to 3/4 per level

Faith

  • Level 20: first soft cap
  • Second Soft Cap: Level 55
  • Third Soft Cap: Level 80
  • First Incantation Cap: Level 60

As of late March 2022, those are all the soft caps that are currently in the game. Keep in mind that these figures may vary as FromSoftware makes new balance adjustments. Faith’s first incantation cap is at level 60, while her second incantation cap is at level 80. The first incantation cap is at level 30, and the second is at level 45 in Arcane.
