In the world of gaming, it’s always crucial to stay up to date on what’s new. On both iOS and Android, a game called AFK Arena is now available. Classic RPG components, such as character level-based damage and stat point allocation, are included in this game (upgrading stats).
An Overview of the AFK Arena
Mobile gamers may get their hands on AFK Arena for free by visiting the App Store or Google Play, iOS 10 and above and Android 4.1 or higher are supported. A total of 98MB of your device’s storage will be used up by the app.
In AFK Arena, the aim is to become the most powerful player. You accomplish this by engaging in Arena combat with other players. AFK Arena has a variety of modes, each of which presents a new challenge to players. Turn-based combat rules the roost in AFK Arena, in which players alternate attacks until one of them falls.
The campaign mode of AFK Arena requires you to destroy all of the adversaries on the battlefield while the King’s Tower mode asks you to climb as high as possible on the board.
Besides PVP Arena and Labyrinth, there is also a mode called Labyrinth, where you have to see how far you can get while utilising your relics.
In AFK Arena, there are a plethora of characters to pick from, making it tough to choose one. If you’re looking for a hero with strong attack power or a high defensive rating, the AFK Arena tier list can help you make an informed decision.
In the early, mid, and late stages of the game, this AFK Arena Tier List might help players get a sense of which Heroes are the greatest bets.
Hero ratings for different game modes are also included: PvP, PvE, Labyrinth Arcane, and Guild Boss.
This tier list ranking is a great starting point for building your team if you’re new to the game. You can also read Leanker’s guide at the bottom for more information.
Early Game Tier List
Both of these characters may be used as your primary carry until you reach level 160 when you should begin focusing on daimon. After that, Daimon, Eironn, or Saurus should be your primary carrier. For Arthur, use gladiator coin challenger store Ezizh, and labyrinth token lab coins for Ezizh, unless a dimensional exchange is in progress. More information may be found right here!
Since they will no longer be able to enhance their skills, Legendary Tier Heroes will no longer be able to compete. The following Heroes can be sacrificed instantly for the sake of improving the others.

HERO Details
Ainz Ooal Gown is essentially the godfather of all carry heroes with his stuns and percentage damage and the more strong Ainz becomes the deeper you progress in the AFK Arena. If you put your money into him, you won’t go wrong at all. To put him in the top rank of this tier list, you have to consider the fact that he is vulnerable to particular setups.
Ainz and Albedo are inseparable when they’re out running. If you don’t have Ainz on your team or Ainz isn’t particularly efficient against certain setups, Albedo gets a lot less useful, therefore it was a little difficult to rate her on her own merits.
Alna is a hero you’ll want to have around when playing AFK Arena’s late and endgames. She’s incredibly adaptable and strengthens your entire squad while also being extremely long-lasting.
When he was first released, Anoki was hailed as a hero by many, but as it turns out, he lacks both strength and versatility. He’s more of a Faction Tower hero who can be useful in certain scenarios, but he has no place in the hierarchy.
When coupled with Skreg, Antandra may be devastating, but it requires a lot of effort. However, he is an excellent hero to utilise in the Faction Tower, but only appears in the end-game in a few specialised roles.
Gwyneth and Arthur synergize well in the early and middle stages of AFK Arena, and the fact that you can connect with Arthur and have an ascended hero straight immediately is a big plus. Later on, his efficacy will wane since he provides little help to the squad and is unable to hold his ground for lengthy periods of time on the battlefield.
Astar’s quick damage reduction for all allies as soon as the combat begins, along with her immunity to control abilities, make her an excellent choice against nasty setups like Athalia or any other direct counter heroes with strong bursts. First-second survivability and healing and burning aren’t terrible with this ability. There is no guarantee, but I think she will rise in the rankings in the future, so grab her and grow her.
Athalia can be useful against some backline heroes, but she is too weak and will die too quickly to have much of an influence, especially in the late game. An excellent pick for PvP, but you should consider whether or not that’s enough of a return on your investment.
Awakened Talene is the whale hero and the first Awakened Hero in AFK Arena. First and foremost, she isn’t nearly as powerful as many people thought, and she can’t last long on the battlefield due to her lack of stamina. If the meta shifts and new teams are formed, the rankings may shift, but she’s not the hero you want to invest in early. By the time regular players are ready to have and utilise her, there will be stronger Awakened heroes accessible.
Baden has one actual location where he can excel and that’s when battling bosses where you can layer up his shadows so they will stack the damage and start dealing tremendous quantities. In addition, this is a good way to keep your managers distracted from your team. However, in a normal campaign, he is unable to stack them effectively enough to get a high rank.
Belinda is undoubtedly a hero who will inflict big damage and strike down opponent teams sooner and mid-game in AFK Arena, no question. However, Belinda’s end-game purpose was to empower Ainz or Khazard with her blessing, and when their meta effectiveness declines, so does hers. Still, she’s a terrific hero to have around until the conclusion of the game, and there are still a few places where she may be helpful.
Brutus is a monster in both the early and middle stages of the game. His shield may be removed by too many abilities to rank high as a hero in the late game, and you need more for a hero. His last gasp ability, though, may still be quite useful against teams that can’t get rid of it and have to deal with huge burst damage.
Yes, Cecilia is a skilled mage assassin. However, she can be mushy in that capacity because it is the only one she can play. This hero is a feasible option in the mid-game but as you progress in AFK Arena, her damage and resilience become so awful that she is no longer a viable option in the late game. It’s not worth the time and money, and there are better-suited heroes out there.
The Celestial Twins have also been heroes that are frequently seen at the top of tier lists and in Stargazing priority due to their excellent support capabilities. Late and end-game heroes are outclassed and less effective by other heroes, therefore this is true. Should you put your money into them? Keep in mind that other celestial/hypogean heroes may be more appropriate.
In the meta endgame, Daimon is a thrilling hero, and you’ll see him in a lot of them. He’s viable and can stack and over-roll opposition teams pretty effectively, especially later in AFK Arena as the level cap grows more and more. A hero you should definitely put your money into.
In comparison to Silas, Desira possesses fascinating powers and is immune to crowd control. Even if she continues to improve, I don’t expect her to rise any higher in the tier rankings in the near future.
Drez is a lot like Cecilia, and he will become worthless in the later stages of the game since he is no longer useful. Except for a certain Faction Tower setups, I don’t advocate investing in him. However, you need to be rather well along in your hero roaster to be at that stage.
Eironn may be seen in a variety of meta team configurations. Investing on his furnishings and Signature Item will allow him to become a much more powerful character in the long run.
Eluard is a valuable member of the Lightbearer group and one to keep an eye on as the game progresses. In AFK Arena, the Lightbearer heroes aren’t particularly powerful in the latter stages of the game, therefore constructing him is only an option.
Her low ranking on this list is due to the fact that Estrilda’s strength is primarily in the middle of the game and she will die too early in the latter stages of the game to justify a significant investment in her.
In the later stages of the game, you’ll be glad you invested in Ezio since he’s a great hero who can hold his own against the tougher foes.
There isn’t much of a purpose for Ezizh in PvE later in the game save for certain instances when silence is needed, although there are superior heroes who will outclass him. He dies too swiftly in the later stages of the game to justify the large expenditure. His importance in PvP makes it worthwhile to utilise your Challenger Medals to get him.
When it comes to PvE end-game tier lists, Fawkes is merely another niche hero that can be used to put an adversary to death, but his prerequisites are too high and he won’t last long enough to justify a significant investment in his Signature Item or furniture set.
When you have invested in Ferael’s Signature Item and furnishings, he can shut down opponent heroes by letting his shadows eat and disregard their energy generation, making him a useful hero in many scenarios. That may be extremely helpful in a variety of circumstances, including PvP.
You can quickly climb Flora compared to other heroes because you can acquire her copies from the Lab Store and you can discover copies of her rather regularly in Hero Choice Chests or Events. The performance of her furnishings and Signature Item will deteriorate as the game progresses, so don’t put too much money on her early on because she isn’t a horrible choice in some situations and doesn’t take much ascension to fit into your squad.
Framton has a slew of beneficial abilities, like dealing a tonne of damage, blocking healing, debuffing and stunging opponents, and reflecting attacks. It is also immune to control effects. The long-term benefits of a hard-to-create hero are worth the effort!
AFK Arena’s PvE campaign and other game modes aren’t suited to Gorvo’s abilities, which are limited to Faction Tower and offer nothing to the table that no other stronger hero can match.
In the early stages of AFK Arena, Granit can perform admirably. However, as the game progresses, he begins to falter. Even though he can interrupt and silence foes and attack backline targets, he lacks resilience late in the game, therefore he’s not much more than a tower or specialised position.
Grezhul’s damage and crowd control have propelled him to the top of the tier list over the past few months, and his versatility means that he can be used in a wide variety of situations without relying on other heroes. Squishy at the beginning, but a beast later on.
Gwyneth is a fantastic mid-game carry because of her damage and stun lock, and I highly suggest her. There have been a lot of new heroes recently who can outclass her in the end-game, therefore she’s no longer as high on the tier list.
Haelus is nothing if not a buffer. With full Signature Bonus, he’ll provide your heroes a tonne of resilience while also buffing allies. That is the problem. Neither attack boosts nor damage that makes a meaningful impact can be found in his team. This makes him an excellent candidate for PvP, but he won’t be so fantastic in the end-game PvE.
Hendrik is a typical guy. He doesn’t have anything remarkable about him that makes him a tier-one player. He can tank, but he lacks tremendous strength in his ultimate, and neither his Signature Item nor furniture set makes a difference. Use him early to mid-game if you get a lot of clones, but don’t put any money into him if you don’t.
Hodgkin is a feasible treatment option. He’ll be strong early on because of his sustain ability, but as he progresses, he’ll be able to live longer, heal himself and an ally, debuff the other team, and snowball his own damage, making protracted clashes against him deadly. Despite the fact that he’s only been in the game for a few months, he’s still a good Graveborn hero that’s worth your time and money.
Unfortunately, Isabella isn’t strong enough at this point in the game to warrant your time and money. In terms of damage, her ultimate isn’t particularly effective, and she’s prone to being soft and unstable when she’s matched up against a mage-killer opponent character.
Izold is a tank who, because of his self-healing abilities, is extremely durable and, particularly in the middle of the game, a hero you can rely on to be the last man standing. In the later stages of the game, he doesn’t offer much more than a fill-in position, but he’s still serviceable — I’d call him competent, but not exceptional.
AFK Arena has been extremely dry for Kaz for quite some time, in fact from the game’s first release, and he has consistently been listed around the bottom of tier rankings. As magic damage becomes increasingly crucial and feasible for top-tier heroes, she begins to gain stronger at evading it. She’s hardly a household name today, but I expect her popularity to rise in the future.
Kelthur isn’t a hero you should give much attention to. There are other heroes on this tier ranking that are more suited for his particular job, but he’s a rare exception. In addition, he needs to put in a lot of work before he can even hope to break even.
It was a surprise to see Kren perform so well in the latter stages of the game. He’s a blast to work with, but in some situations, he’s a must-have. The only drawback to him is that if you want to get his command chains up and running, you’ll have to put all you have into him.
Tasi is basically Leonardo da Vinci, but with more RNG. A poor stun or the incorrect opponent paint mark will ruin the entire battle, yet his cannon can deliver considerable damage and he has strong cc and evasive abilities.
There are stronger heroes than Leofric in terms of PvE later in the game, but he’s still useful in a few specific scenarios when you need to silence the opposition team. He dies too swiftly in the later stages of the game to justify the large expenditure.
Lorsan is a debated hero, yet he has a few specialised niches in which his connection is really valuable. Against some AFK Arena setups, that’s not enough to put him in the top tier, but he’s a hero you might want to try out.
Lucius is the tank you need in the early and middle stages of the game. With his protection and healing abilities, he will let you get through Chapters 28-30 without spending much on furnishings or Signature Items. The damage he takes will eventually consume him, and his healing will be rendered useless. He is also a poor choice for late- to late-game situations.
Since her debut, Lucretia has been rapidly climbing the ranks of my tier list. Chapters post-Chapter-30 will be easier to go through thanks to her ability to cheese teams like crazy. Many different game modes are feasible with her, and you can find her on about half of all meta teams right now.
Early in the game, Lyca is a hero worth investing in. Her buffs are so versatile that you’ll find yourself relying on her for the whole AFK Arena campaign. There’s a reason she’s at the top of the list.
Mehira has great crowd control and can captivate an opponent hero and take them out of the combat, hence her tier is high in the AFK Arena tier list because of this. Especially in the last stages of the game, this is critical. However, she could be useful in a non-meta team as a DPS/CC hybrid. Keep an eye on her; any little investment is already a smart idea given how powerful all of her investments are and how they drive her. As a strong defensive tool against teams that may quickly overwhelm your squad, Merlin is an excellent addition to your arsenal. He also provides several very useful boosts.
As time progresses, Mezoth loses some of his initial vigour and becomes less effective. This hero has the ability to eliminate one adversary from combat, which is useful later on, but he is easily countered and eliminated, thus I have to classify him as a niche role hero that isn’t worth the money spent on emblazers and furnishings.
Mishka, on the other hand, grows increasingly clumsy as the level deficit widens. The reason for this is that as the level deficit increases, her wolves will die fast, and if this happens at the correct time, she will receive healing, but her efficacy will be much diminished. The long and the short of it is that her description sounded great and she was a hero you could really use in AFK Arena and Faction Tower early on, but she doesn’t really have a specialised function that makes sense later in the game.
Morael is a mediocre hero for the time being, but he’s still intriguing. Squishy at times, she isn’t a hero worth putting much stock into.
Although Morrow isn’t a hero that will be dealing a lot of damage or burst, he has an outstanding ability to stun, freeze, and sleep foes and cc them significantly. However, because he has little capacity to live and may be sniped quickly if not employed correctly, you must use him in a setup that can defend him.
One of the best buffer and support heroes in the AFK Arena, Mortas doesn’t require a lot of investment in Signature Item and furnishings to be a decent option. As long as you put him at the top of your stargazing priority list, you won’t go wrong.
Nakoruru is a hero with a very specific role in some Ainz compositions. It’s not amazing in any way, and it’s a challenging investment, too.
Nara is a hero that may be quite effective in taking down a certain backline hero when used correctly. In the endgame, she is more of a decent niche hero to toss in these scenarios, with a focus on PvP. It’s still a hero worth keeping and investing in.
Nemora hasn’t been a top hero from the beginning of the game, but her charm and support for your squad may provide you a big edge in the latter chapters, making her an useful asset. As a healer in the early and middle stages of the game, she’s a big winner.
Depending on the squad you’re playing against, Numisu’s effectiveness can range from squishy at times to quite effective. In the early and midgame, his totems and buffs/debuffs are potent, and he can be a real torment for the opposition. You should retain him on your list even if he gets outclassed and countered too easily later on.
AFK Arena’s Oden is a very adaptable hero in the endgame, which is why he’s high on the tier list. He’s an important piece of multiple meta-ending teams, and he’s a wise long-term investment.
A hero like Orthos functions better in PvP than in the campaign’s latter stages since you can make your opponent go nuts. When you consider how much money it would cost to get him, he’s not exactly a hero for everyone’s roasting.
Overall, Oscar is of little use. Because he’s a softie, he doesn’t always deliver what you desire. Investing in him at the end of the game is a waste of time since he will die too early and won’t have a significant influence.
Peggy may be clumsy and is more effective later in the game than in the beginning of AFK Arena. The fact that she’s just been around for a few months means she’s not yet a hero worth following closely.
While Pippa is a lot of fun, she’s also a lot of power when you invest in her furnishings and Signature Item as well as the proper heroes. In my opinion, a hero who occupies the highest echelons of the ranks is a hero worth investing in.
Despite the hoopla, Prince of Persia remains an excellent hero to have in your arsenal. As an Ezio-like character compared to Prince of Persia, however, Prince of Persia is less impressive and has less potential.
A lot of players considered Raine “useless” before meta and a few balance updates propelled her to the top of the list. Not the insane “must-have” hero, she’s a great and feasible alternative to have instead. She’s still one of the Lightbearer heroes in AFK Arena that’s worth it in the long run.
When Raku was launched, he was thought to be much more powerful than he actually is. AFK Arena’s +30 Signature Item, which does percentage damage that scales with the enemy, is the primary reason for his success in the late game.
When Respen was first revealed, there was a lot of excitement, but it has now become clear that he will have little influence and will have little purpose in the final game. For the Faction Tower, it’s not worth it unless you’re looking for a new Wilder hero.
As a hero, Rigby has never been worth it. It’s too mushy and lacklustre. I don’t think his control is that strong, he dies soon, and he doesn’t deal too many wounds. Unless there is a significant adjustment for him in a future balance update or meta change, don’t use him as fodder and don’t invest in him either.
For another hero, Rosaline serves as a rechargeable battery. While Rosaline ults, the hero that wrecked the ship will have to run his ultimate two times as far as he would normally, because she will be supplying the other heroes’ energy when she does so. Buffs are also included. Although she isn’t meta end-game, she’s a good investment and may be used in a variety of ways.
In general, Rowan is the best hero in the AFK Arena. All-around outstanding guy that can run in 99.99% of all team structures from the early game to the latter game and in all modes of play. At whatever point in the game, he should always come first in the heroes’ circle.
Her ultimate charge can slam dunk a whole opposition team in the middle of the game as she’s charging it. A lot of setups and counters may easily knock her down, and the damage she deals isn’t all that devastating any more, so she’ll be less effective in the endgame around Chapter 30.
Reworked, Satrana has become a competent hero from a worthless one in recent months. But she’s neither a solid late-game niche hero nor a hero worth investing in. Only if you require a Mauler hero in Faction Tower do you need to invest on her. My own preference is for the second choice.
To utilise Saurus against bosses or other scenarios when you need to inflict a large amount of damage to a single target, Saurus is a wonderful hero to have on your team. When he gets to the endgame, it’s too simple for his opponents to take him down since he doesn’t have enough of an advantage. Keep him in your collection of heroes.
The Lightbearer Shemira-like Scarlet may be a fun hero to play and a viable choice for the endgame if you can persuade adversaries to join together and use her HP-dependent damage. In addition to healing and debuffing, she can also do AoE damage and continually reroll her ultimate. The problem is that she’s a little sluggish in PvP.
Seirus is and has always been a hero in whose future you should have no faith. He’s too squishy in the early stages of AFK Arena, but afterwards he dies too quickly and doesn’t contribute anything to the game. Stay away from him if he doesn’t undergo a major transformation.
When it comes to early and midgame, Shemira is without a doubt THE single carry hero to have. However, as the game progresses, she will become less and less effective due to a lack of damage and the ease with which she can be taken down before even using her ultimate. No need to spend money on furnishings or the Signature Item of a hero who should be prioritised by AFK Arena players early in the game.
Silas is the Graveborn faction’s long-awaited healer, and he more than fills that role. If you put your money into him, you’ll get your money back. He’s also important in the Faction Tower, as well as in the latter stages of the game.
For Faction Tower and AFK Arena, Skreg is an extremely beneficial hero if you spend money on his Signature Item. As the game progresses, he becomes less and less useful, as more and more configurations disable him and his skills become ineffective enough to reduce him to the status of Faction Tower’s rare niche hero or tank.
Skriath is a good long-term investment in the Mauler faction. At first, it’s difficult to play with him because of his vulnerability, but the more you spend on him, the more beneficial he becomes in the later stages of the game.
The Wilder Faction’s sole AoE damage hero, Solise is useful in the Faction Tower. In the long run, her damage output will be inadequate, and Raku is a superior option, thus she isn’t ranked as highly as she should be.
Everyone in the Celestial group had Talene, and she was the one they were all trying to improve. Since her release, she’s been at the top of the heap. She’s been slipping lately, especially in the last stages, where she’s becoming less potent. Even though he’s still a powerful hero, he’s no longer the best late-game tier hero in Stargazing and is no longer the first priority hero for you. Please don’t be offended by the fact that I’m revealing some hard truths.
Tasi is a hero that every AFK Arena player should have in their team. She has excellent control skills that will come in handy throughout the game, from early on until the very finish. She has the ability to completely disable an opponent hero, which is particularly valuable in the late game.
Thali is a kind of ascended Saveas, but her high damage output and lack of variety cause her to fall out of favour later in the game. Moreover, she is of no consequence to her superiors.
From the beginning of the game to the finish, you should avoid Thane in the AFK Arena. There are so many better assassins out there, and he simply can’t stay alive at all. It’s not even worth trying to invest in.
Theowyn is competent in most things, but not exceptional. While she has a reasonable chance of surviving and buffing, there are better alternatives available at this time, so don’t waste your money on her.
CC and stun, as well as debuffing and activating a healing engine, are all part of Thesku’s crazy toolkit, but activating the stun requires too many resources early in the game to make him truly insane. In any case, this is a powerful early- and mid-game carry that can also be found in the Faction Tower and in a few PvP niches near the conclusion of the game. Consider that the rating above is greatly influenced by the end-game, thus his place there doesn’t indicate how effective I find him early on for any player.
There are so many situations and setups where Thoran is a hero to cheese. If you’re looking for an F2P hero that can carry you through a lot of chapters, look no further than this one.
The appropriate setups may make Tidus a valuable hero, however he should only be used in Faction Tower or on extremely rare occasions due to his soft nature.
Torne isn’t all that flexible, and he’s lacking a key component that would elevate him to superstar status. He’s not a great option because he doesn’t do a lot of damage and doesn’t work well with other buffs. In terms of investment in insignia or furnishings, he’s just mediocre and doesn’t warrant much.
Treznor is a dependable player, thus playing him is a smart move. However, his investments only allow him to deal damage that isn’t over the roof, which is the one drawback to his strategy. Even so, he’s a solid AFK Arena end-game pick and an excellent Graveborn hero for tower defence.
To oppose Flora in the forefront, you can utilise Ukyo with Zolrath, but that’s about all he has going for him. It’s beneficial here and there, but it’s not a top priority for the majority of people.
Ulmus is completely pointless, and there is no other way to put it. Think twice before killing him if you have him in an enemy formation and think it’s difficult to kill him. The mending he performs is only theoretical, and he doesn’t provide anything else to the squad. No need to spend anything in his Signature Item or furnishings at this early stage of the game.
In my opinion, Vurk is a niche role hero with better alternatives that can stir up some controversy from time to time. He is easily countered, has no way to stay alive, and his damage begins to drop off the tiers as the game progresses.
It’s hard to argue that Walker is much more than a mediocre hero in the game. No big damage is done and he does not provide anything to the squad. Using him sparingly may be OK, but don’t make any long-term plans to use him in the present metagame.
Unfortunately, Warek lacks the necessary attributes to be a hero worth rooting for. His knockback only works well in a few teams since he deals little damage, dies quickly, and only works effectively in certain teams. He’s a welcome addition to Faction Tower on some stages, but that’s about it.
Despite his recent drop in the Tier List, Wu Kong is still a cool and useful hero who you should consider investing in because he’s relatively easy to level up for a celestial hero. The truth, however, when looking at the facts is that his powers are more and more outclassed by the other heroes who have been added.
Zaphrael’s involvement in the game diminishes as the story progresses. A large part of his role will be to resist the formidable Lucretia, who has a lot of cheese setups under her belt. There isn’t much else to recommend him as an investment.
Zikis, on the other hand, is an effective damage dealer who accomplishes just that. Is capable of sustaining and delivering good mitigation, but lacks a few elements to become an all-out crazy-tier. It’s possible that this will show up in future meta-compositions.
You may get the incorrect idea about Zolrath if you encounter situations when his reset is going to make you crazy. Eventually, this will become less effective as you progress through the game and there are a number of heroes that can handle him very effectively.
