- Spawn, the popular Image Comics anti-hero created by Todd McFarlane, unleashes hell on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Warzone Season 06.
- The crossover will include pre-Hellspawn Al Simmons and Spawn as new Operators, with other Spawn-themed Operator skins in the Season 06 Battle Pass.
- Aside from Spawn, the COD licensed store will add characters from Diablo, Evil Dead, Masters of the Universe, Hellsing, and DOOM.
As Todd McFarlane’s Spawn brings fire and brimstone to the battlefield in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Warzone Season 06, get ready to cause some hell.
The protagonist of the eponymous comic book is the anti-hero Spawn. The 1990s saw the creation of the Image Comics Revolution, which included Todd McFarlane’s Spawn and other very successful Marvel Comics authors including Jim Lee, Erik Larsen, Rob Liefeld, Whilce Portacio, Marc Silvestri, and Jim Valentino launching their own comic book publishing company.
The secession gave McFarlane and the other Image Comics founders more creative and financial independence, but some of the narratives and artwork—especially the violent and sexual content—were too mature and even X-rated for that generation of comic book readers. In any case, Spawn was an enormous hit, appearing in video games, feature films, and toy lines.
However, what is in store for Activision’s COD: MW II and Warzone from Al Simmons, better known as Spawn? Look over the information below.
Todd McFarlane, the creator of Spawn, personally shared the news on Facebook and X (previously Twitter).

The announcement and Warzone Season 06: The Haunting and COD: Modern Warfare II both air at the same time. The official Call of Duty website describes:
The hell-cursed anti-hero Spawn arrives in Season 06, tasked with taking out the Dark Ritual Operators across Al Mazrah and Vondel. Plus, four new Multiplayer maps at launch, three new functional weapons, the return of The Haunting, and more.
The upcoming Operators in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Warzone are Al Simmons and Spawn. The Season 06 Battle Pass will also provide access to additional Operator Skins with a Spawn theme.Additionally, by acquiring the Battle Pass, players will be able to access the pre-Hellspawn transformation of Al Simmons as a new operator in the COD crossover featuring the well-known Image Comics antihero.
“A deal with the devil is fulfilled in Season 06’s Battle Pass. Witness U.S. Security Group assassin Al Simmons’ transformation into the legendary antihero Spawn. Unlock further Spawn-themed rewards and Operator Skins throughout the pass, including additional visitors from the Underworld.”
“Born in Detroit, Michigan, Simmons grew up to become a skilled assassin and military intelligence officer who was then betrayed by his former colleagues and murdered during a mission. Sent to Hell for his work as an assassin, he made a deal with the devil to return to Earth as none other than Spawn.”
The Battle Pass will offer different Operators and skins in addition to the Al Simmons operator. Disruptor (Horangi Skin), Soul Crusher (Vega Skin), Burned Spawn (Al Simmons Skin), Creepy Clown (Fender Skin), Violator (K nig Skin), and Nikto Spawn (Nikto Skin) are among the skin types that can be found in the New Operator Tier 0 and Tier 100 skin types.
Keith David, the legendary voice of the superhero who was formerly a mercenary but later converted a Hellspawn, will be playing the same part, which makes this news even more delightful. Since the HBO animated series Spawn ran from 1997 to 1999, Keith David has been the voice actor for the character. He has kindly returned to the role in various computer games, such as Mortal Kombat 11.

However, Spawn is not the only one attending the Halloween parties for Warzone and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II. The COD licensed store options will include Inarius and Lilith from Diablo, Skeletor from Masters of the Universe, Ash Williams from Evil Dead 2, Alucard from Hellsing, and DOOM (in the form of a weapon package).
The best thing is that, when Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III releases later this year, you can transfer over your Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II material.
On September 27, 2023, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II Season 06 will debut.
