Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 was just unveiled at an international event sponsored by Activision Blizzard. While the event was going on, the official X (Twitter) made the announcement that zombies would be returning in the forthcoming game.
Zombies will be making a return as an open-world PVE experience.
The famous Zombies mode should return to the first-person shooter series, as requested by fans.Many devoted players were dismayed to learn that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 does not include the Zombies mode.
Modern Warfare 3 will feature the “largest Call of Duty Zombies map ever,” according to the release. Players will face off against hordes of the undead in the open-world survival PVE experience that is the Zombies mode. To combat zombies and other hazards, players can work together in teams.
In place of the previous round-based gameplay, the incoming Zombies mode will offer an extraction shooter-style experience akin to Warzone’s DMZ. This implies that players will enter a Warzone area, finish their missions, collect their rewards, and then leave the arena.

Instead of the standard Warzone squad size of four, players will now enter the map in groups of six operators. In each round, there may be a maximum of 24 players. These groups can unite to accomplish goals together.
The Zombies mode will include 60-minute periods before players must leave the map, according to information provided by ModernWarzone. Comparatively, DMZ bouts continue for about 30 minutes until operators must leave the fray.

According to reports, players will also face human threats during rounds in addition to zombie ones. According to reports, the difficulty will increase as players approach the map’s center and won’t be time- or kill-based.
Treyarch’s Zombie plot will not overlap with the cinematic story for the upcoming Zombies mode.

There have been earlier reports that the new Zombies mode will take precedence over the well-liked DMZ extraction shooter mode. Fans believe that only one extraction shooter mode will be supported by Activision.
