Not long after the publicationAfter Larian Studios released Hotfix #5, which enabled speech and nipple coverings for characters with bugs, they also released Patch #2 for Baldur’s Gate 3. Additionally, it went available for PS5 and PC users at the perfect moment.
When Baldur’s Gate 3 came out in August, Larian Studios was the talk of the gaming community and industry. Both reviewers and players have praised the adaptation of the Forgotten Realms campaign setting and its mechanics from Wizards of the Coast’s Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition tabletop roleplaying game into Battlegrounds 3. However, after its official release, a number of problems and technical issues have been found in Baldur’s Gate 3.
Both the official Baldur’s Gate 3 website and the Steam Community page announced the release of Hotfix #5. The links were also posted on Larian Studios’ social media accounts.
Hotfix #5 is now live for BG3 on PC & PS5!

The romance with Minthara is at the center of one of the major enhancements included in the fifth Hotfix for BG3. In Act 3 of Baldur’s Gate 3, players can now explore their love possibilities through chat trees and newly additional dialogue that expands on Minthara’s narrative.
Available now for the Sony Playstation 5, is Baldur’s Gate 3. The console updates and enhancements are now included in the most recent hotfix.Not only does Minthara receive fresh dialogue, but so does everyone else. The BG3 development team said as follows:
Minthara isn’t the only one who has new things to say though. Other companions in the party will comment on the relationship and may even find themselves on Minthara’s bad side (there is no good side; we’ve looked really hard for it) should they have their own romantic entanglements with you. And Minthara won’t watch silently if you stray from her side, whether your dalliance is with another member of the party, or [redacted].
Also, there are improvements tailored especially for gamers of Battlegrounds 3 on the recently released Sony Playstation 5 console version:
We also have a number of fixes for just PS5 players. We’ve fixed graphical issues on HDR TVs, an issue in which game audio on PS5 stopped working, and a crash that would occur when opening the onscreen keyboard.

With the Steamconcurrent player count smashing records, Baldur’s Gate 3 is still the biggest game in the market today. Larian Studios’ dedication to upholding a standard of post-purchase quality and support that beyond that of other contemporary AAA game developers and publishers is demonstrated by their persistent focus on addressing and resolving the difficulties that users of Battlefield 3 are reporting.
Surprisingly, the popularity of Baldur’s Gate 3 hasn’t decreased despite Bethesda‘s massive new space-faring IP Starfield being released. Even though BG3 and Starfield are two quite different RPGs, some Starfield players have complained that BG3’s immersion and NPC interaction are more engaging than Starfield’s.
With Hotfix #5, Minthara is not the only NPC to receive new dialogue.
